ImprovIce is a NYC-based experience that combines hands-on cocktail-making with improv games. You'll be making and tasting a number of cocktails, learning the basics of mixology and playing improv games in between. We will teach you how easy and fun it is to mix your own specialty drinks all while breaking the “ice” with some fun improvisation! We do corporate events and private parties, and customize our class to groups of all types and sizes.

How ImprovIce Works

The Improv

​Improv is a form of theater performed in an unplanned, unscripted manner. Here at ImprovIce, it's about spontaneity, collaboration, and letting loose, with a drink or two oiling the gears. We'll guide you through a set of warm-ups used by improv troupes and then dive into hilarious, collaborative improv games.
​

The Ice

We'll also equip you with the tools and know-how to turn everyday ingredients into craft cocktails. Every participant will stir/shake/pour/garnish their own drink and then enjoy the fruits of their labor. The focus of this portion of class is simplicity, balance of flavors, and, of course, a little improvisation.

The Fun

ImprovIce is the perfect intersection of classy booziness and meaningful, hilarious improvisation. It's a great way to bond with coworkers, friends, or really anyone at all and most importantly, it's a ton of fun!
